History of Unimach Manufacturing |
Founded in 1979 by Fred Tompkins, Unimach Manufacturing is more than a company specializing in precision machining and fabricating. Fred believed his company's most important job was solving a customer's manufacturing and maintenance problems. Before Fred retired, Douglas Bartosh, a former employee, had purchased Unimach in 2004. He continues to provide Unimach customers with all of the service they have known and loved since 1979. Unimach's client base spans across the world from industry to science and medical, including over 14,000 government contracts.
Unimach Manufacturing is a member of the NTMA (National Tooling & Machining
Association), American Society of Quality Control, Armstrong County Manufacturing Consortium, and Butler County Manufacturing Consortium. |

About the Owner |
Douglas Bartosh started machining parts at the age of 8 and he continues to do so today. Over the years, Doug continued in the machining and fabricating industry and even taught an advance machining and blueprint reading class at a local Vo-Tech school. When Doug had the opportunity to buy Unimach Manufacturing in 2004, he did not hesitate. Being a former employee, he knew what Unimach Manufacturing had to offer. And with his years of experience in the industry, Doug would be able to grow Unimach Manufacturing and maintain the same quality service, reliability, and accuracy it has been known for. |
